Meet Jatoyia Armour:

Mother. Advocate. Voice for Change.

Jatoyia Armour is a mother, advocate, and educator who turned her personal experiences into platforms that help others reclaim their power. As both the founder of Bariatric Paths and the author of Roar at the Table, she’s on a mission to help people find their voice — whether that’s at the IEP table or in their own health journey.

Her advocacy began when navigating the special education system for her son, where she learned firsthand how overwhelming it can be to fight for support, understanding, and respect. That journey inspired Roar at the Table, a guide that equips parents with the tools, confidence, and courage to advocate for their children effectively.

Through Bariatric Paths, Jatoyia extends that same philosophy of empowerment to individuals on weight loss and wellness journeys. She creates spaces for real conversations about transformation — physical, mental, and emotional — reminding people that self-advocacy starts with believing you’re worthy of change.
